The Role 

As part of their continued success and growth, our client are looking for an ambitious, self-motivated, and highly driven SDR to join our team. In this role, you need to be highly organised and a great communicator to approach, qualify and secure sales opportunities with marketing-qualified prospects that would benefit from cleaner, greener energy.

 

The goal of this role is to create and cultivate relationships with prospective customers to build a consistent and high-value pipeline for our sales team.

About 

  • £27,500 base salary per annum

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop a deep understanding for how the technology works and the value it delivers to our customers.
  • Proactively reach out to prospect customers through an omni-channel approach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
  • Identifying, nurturing, and qualifying prospects from your own target list.
  • Leverage outbound activities such as cold calling, email, and social media to qualify and set sales meetings.
  • Book qualified meetings for Business Development team with prospective customers
  • Become a trusted representative in the marketplace

 

Your success in-role will be evaluated on: 

  • Number of sales appointments secured
  • Quality of sales appointments completed
  • Effort shown in your prospect approaches
  • Pre-meeting knowledge of your prospects’ business and challenge.

 

Skills and Experience 

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
    Need to be flexible in a fast changing market
  • Needs a Passionate and dynamic mindset
  • A strong understanding of Sales Development best practices.
  • Demonstrable track record of sales development success to senior management in mid-market/enterprise firms.
  • Inquisitive, focused and goal oriented.

  • Experience promoting value and solutions that demonstrate clear ROI
  • Resilient and highly organised
